Adventure will take you wherever it may, but you still want to feel in control, even on unknown roads and through uncharted terrains. That’s why your motorcycle jacket should be a versatile companion – making your every mile safe, comfortable, and composed. So, if you’re looking for an all-season all-rounder, the Offtrack 2 H2O’s for you. Now you’re dressed to be in control of every adventure.

Versatile line-up Confidence-inspiring design puts the focus on your unfolding adventure. When it’s hot out in the wild, well-proportioned VCS|Aquadefence panels increase airflow, while zippers on the forearms and back ventilate your upper body. Should the temperature drop, just zip the detachable thermal liner into the PWR|Shell, PWR|Ripstop outer. And in adverse weather, switch to the hydratex liner to stay dry. The thermal liner & removable waterproof liner are both separate wearable stand-alone jackets. The waterproof liner is also wearable over the top of the outer shell jacket, making the 100% waterproof WL the outermost layer for extreme wet weather conditions. One jacket, three modes; all the versatility.

Explore safe Knowing your jacket is keeping you safe helps you enjoy the thrill of adventure riding – that’s the thinking behind the Offtrack H2O jacket. Sizing Information

We tried a size Medium and an XL on our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. Those are sizes they usually wear in an “American” cut jacket. This jacket from REV’IT! fits well enough and it looks sharp, but there is very minimal room left. Many brands from Europe exhibit a fit like this, such as Alpinestars. If you look at REV’IT!’s published size chart (below), you’ll see their estimate of chest size is at least a full size smaller than what you’d find in equivalent US designed clothing.

We measured each jacket and tried them on and we’ve concluded that the fit is just about one-half size smaller than what you would find in ordinary US men’s clothing. The amount the jackets are undersized is not as severe as REV’IT!’s size chart would have you believe. For most people, this means you’ll be able to buy the size you normally wear if you want a snug, European style fit. If you want a looser American fit, or if you are between sizes, choose one size larger.

Below is the REV’IT!-published chest size for each jacket’s alpha size along with our estimate of max chest and max waist/belly. This particular style is not a “sport” oriented style so there is not a lot of taper from chest to waist, and with a style like this you can effectively tailor the fit of the waist with the side waist adjusters, which makes the jacket look great and fit great, so don’t worry if your waist/belly is smaller than the max. We only list this for those that have a belly so they can know what minimum size they’d have to choose to fit the belly.

Note: Add about 1” to your chest and belly measurements if you plan to add a back protector. Add an additional 1” inch to your chest if you will add the chest protectors.

Our Two Cents

The Offtrack 2 H20 Jacket from REV’IT! is in it’s second generation and carries over some really good features from its original iteration. The Offtrack 2 is a 3 layer adventure jacket that features a waterproof liner that can be worn either in or over the jacket as well as massive ventilation panels that allow this to be a three almost four season jacket.

Let’s start with comfort and fit, this jacket features what I would call a regular fit as it’s designed to be worn as “comfortable wear”, it is not meant to hug the riders body, but it also wouldn’t qualify as loose. The good news is that if the fit isnt quite right for you there are adjustments in the elbow protector, lower arms, cuffs, upper arm, the waist and at the hem. This jacket also features a double adjustment strap at the waist as well as a Flexisnap at the collar. To additionally aid comfort the Offtrack 2 jacket has a Soft Spacer Mesh liner as well as soft edge at the collar.

From a convenience stand point this jacket features quite a few pockets, with two external pockets on the thermal liner, a stash pocket on the back, two inner pockets, two stash pockets at the front , a waterproof inner pocket within the waterproof liner as well as two inner waterproof pockets on the waterproof liner. To further aid in convenience and safety the Offtrack Jacket features a long connection zipper so that it can perfectly line up with the Offtrack 2 pants or other REV’IT! pants with long zippers.

This jacket is a 3 layer setup as you get the main jacket, the 3L Hydratex over jacket that is waterproof and breathable (you can wear this on the inside or the outside of the jacket) as well as a detachable thermal liner to keep you warm. All in all the 3 different layers really allow you to customize your comfort when it comes to the elements. Speaking of the elements, when it is hot, the Offtrack 2 can breathe quite well with all liners removed and the large ventilation panels on the chest open and with the air outlet on the upper back. There are also zippers that can open up on the lower arms to allow for even more airflow. The outer shell is made out of High Density Polyester (600D) in combination with mesh, PWR shell ripstop as well as Softshell 3L.

From a safety and protection standpoint the Offtrack 2 jacket includes laminated reflection at the upper arms, shoulders, chest and back for maximum visibility and comes standard with SEEFLEX CE-level 2 Elbow Protectors and SEEFLEX CE-level 2 Shoulder Protectors. The jacket also has pockets for the optional SEESOFT CE-level 2 Insert Back Protector and SEESOFT CE-level 1 Divided Insert Chest Protector. Overall the Offtrack 2 jacket has a CE Level AA abrasion rating.

I am a big fan of the Offtrack 2 Jacket and pants combo, comfortable fit, with multiple layers that really allow you to adjust your fit, comfort and weather needs. If you are looking to do some adventure riding or touring this setup is great value for the money. :: Damir 3/27/24
