Sizing Information

These Torc gloves fit a little smaller than most American brands you might be familiar with like Tourmaster or Klim. I would suggest that you go up one size from what you normally wear in American brands to find a good fit. We found this glove to be particularly tight across the back of the hand and fingers while loose in the palm.

Our Two Cents

The Torc Escondito gloves are a perforated goat leather short cuff glove.

The leather used in the Escondito glove is supple and has a nice appearance. There are overlays in the palm in key wear areas and on the heel of the palm for improved abrasion resistance. Under that overlay at the heel there is also foam for impact resistance. The knuckles are also foam and flex with your hand.

All the fingers except the pinky have accordion panels so they flex as you grip and there are perforations on the palm and back of the fingers and hand. The cuff closure is a single hook and loop strap. The index fingers have some touchscreen capable material that seems to function well on both Apple and Android devices here at the shop.

Use caution on this glove, we found the cut a little off. The palms seem to have too much material and the back of the hand is too narrow, you’d think that would line up to make a good fit but it ends up bunching at the palm and pinching the fingers when you grip. Going up one size alleviates the pinching but you still have bunching to deal with, unfortunately. :: Mike, 10/26/2022
