REV'IT! Worker Overshirt

We measured and tried on all the sizes in this overshirt and developed the size chart below to help you buy the right size. The overall cut is trim… some call it a “European” cut, which means it is close fitting and will work best for those with a trim build. For most people, we recommend you buy the size you usually wear in men’s clothing. Those with more stout builds will want to try one size larger than you normally wear.

We put a Medium and XL on our two Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey and the fit looks good (click the “View Larger Images” link above to see).

Sleeve and body lengths are noticeably generous so taller riders will appreciate the extra length. The arms are fairly trim so those with stout builds probably won’t like the overall cut, but taller and leaner cut people probably will love it.

The Worker Overshirt by REVIT is another styling option which works similarly to other overshirts in their product line. This one is made of a Cordura reinforced canvas material and has extra storage. Armor is included in the shoulders and elbows.

The material used for the Worker overshirt is a heavy duty canvas material that is made of cotton and Cordura. The Cordura is very abrasion resistant and because it’s woven together with the cotton makes it a suitable material for riding where plain cotton doesn’t really have any abrasion resistant properties. The inside of the shirt is lined with a camo-print nylon.

The Sand version in this overshirt reminds me of my favorite Carhartt work shirt where the darker color has more of a work uniform vibe. There are a couple of large patch pockets in front down low that might come in handy to store your stuff. Those two pockets close with magnets which is easy to operate.

Like the other overshirts from REVIT, this one closes with a zipper (for safety) and then there is a snap closure setup for the placket over the zipper. The snaps look like buttons to give the shirt a more sturdy appearance (think lumberjacket shirt or Levi jacket perhaps). The last couple snaps don’t have the button look on the outside which the paint on your tank will be thankful for. Also, the collar tips have small hidden snaps to hold them down so they don’t flap and drive you crazy at higher speeds.

This overshirt comes with SeeSmart armor in the shoulders and elbows which is extremely thin and flexible. More traditional armor just wouldn’t work well with a close-fit shirt style like this, and so this armor works great. The shirt can connect to jeans with loops that goes around your belt, and there is also a short rear zipper to connect to REV’IT motorcycle pants. The short zipper can also work with REVIT’s Safeway 2 belt. If you use the belt with your jeans, it becomes a more secure connection than the two simple loops over your own belt.

I personally like this style because the style is so familiar to me. Like the other overshirt styles, I can see myself wearing this jacket very easily off the bike as well as on the bike too. :: Paul, 02-06-19

Add a Back Protector: This jacket is made with a pocket to accept a Seesoft CE Level 2 Back Protector Insert type RV (RV refers to the shape). For sizes Small or Medium, choose size 4; for Large thru XXL, choose size 5 and for the XXXL, go with the size 6.
