Hmmm…, well, we really can’t figure out what Fieldsheer was trying to say by offering a “Jacket Size” and also a “Chest Inches” in their chart, but what we estimate is that the suit will accommodate a max chest of about what the Jacket Size row states and the approximate waist sizes are about right. If you have a belly, make sure your belly is no larger than about 6” less than the Jacket Size listed. Example: The XL will accommodate a 46” max chest, 40” belly and a 38” waist. The inseam listed will work OK if it is about 2” inches less than your normal jean inseam considering that the pant is tapered and designed to go inside boots and only reach the top of your foot.

Well here’s a suit that won’t leave you unnoticed. The Tatt one piece leather suit from Fieldsheer has some crazy wild tribal patterns all over which will surely draw some attention. Perfect for track days or aggressive street riding, the Tatt suit incorporates all of the protective features you would expect in a one piece suit. There is CE approved armor in the knees, elbows, and shoulders, all of which is removable. The removable back armor is also CE approved, and is quite substantial. For the hips there are SP memory foam pads. If you plan on getting your knee down, sliders are included. There is also some external armor in the shoulders, made of molded plastic and a titanium plate, but I would consider this more just for looks. The speed hump on the back serves two purposes. One, it helps keep you more aerodynamic at speed, and secondly, it helps reduce neck injuries if you were to land on your back, keeping your helmet and back on the same plane so that your head is not bent too far forward. Moving on to comfort… This suit is cut in a way to already be articulated for the riding position. There are stretch panels behind the elbows and shoulders, at the lower back, and above the knees. In addition to these accordion style leather stretch panels, a stretch Cordura® material is used along the inseam, down the back of the knees, and on the inner arms. Leather is in all the right places for protection, while the Cordura® allows for more freedom of movement where it counts. The neck and wrist openings are lined with a neoprene like material for comfort and reduced chaffing. This certainly doesn’t look like your typical race suit, but the protective features are all there, so if these wild looks go with your wild personality (or maybe your riding style?), then we say, go for it!
